Ricoh kündigt die Entwicklung der Kompaktkamera GR IVx an


Nach der 28-mm-Kamera GR IV will Ricoh voraussichtlich im Laufe des kommenden Winters die 40-mm-Variante GR IVx auf den Markt bringen.

Die erste Kamera aus der vierten Generation der flachen GR-Kamera mit APS-C-Sensor hatte Ricoh im September 2025 auf den Markt gebracht. Die GR IV mit kleinbildäquivalenten 28 mm ist für rund 1450 Euro erhältlich. Es folgten Anfang 2026 eine Variante mit HD-Filter (Highlight Diffusion) für weiche Spitzlichter (ca. 1550 Euro) und die Schwarzweiß-Kamera GR IV Monochrome (ca. 1900 Euro).

Neuer optischer Aufbau

Nun hat Ricoh also die Entwicklung der GR IVx mit 40-mm-Objektiv (kleinbildäquivalent) angekündigt. Sie ist mit dem gleichen 25,7-MP-Sensor ausgestattet wir die GR IV. Das Objektiv hat wie bei der Vorgängerin GR IIIx eine echte Brennweite 26,1 mm bei Lichtstärke 2,8, der 1,5x-Crop des APS-C-Sensors ergibt einen Bildwinkel, der 40 mm beim Kleinbild einspricht und damit der natürlichen Blickwinkel eines Menschen nahekommt. Den optischen Aufbau des Objektives hat Ricoh allerdings geändert: Es kommen nun acht Elemente in sechs Gruppen, darunter drei asphärische Elemente zum Einsatz (statt 7 Elemente in 5 Gruppen mit zwei Asphären).

Erstmals 4K-Video in der GR-Serie

Weitere Verbesserungen gegenüber der dritten Generation dürften die gleichen sein wie bei der GR IV. Dazu gehört die Verbesserung des Bildstabilisators, der nun auf fünf Achsen arbeitet. Der interne Speicher ist 53 statt zwei GB groß. Erstmals in der GR-Serie nimmt die GR IVx laut Vorab-Datenblatt Video mit 4K/30p statt Full-HD auf (der Hersteller weist darauf hin, dass sich die technischen Daten bis zur Markteinführung noch ändern können). Unverändert sind der fest montierte Monitor (3,0 Zoll, 1,04 Millionen Punkte) und der zuschaltbare ND-Filter mit zwei Stufen. Einen Preis nannte Ricoh noch nicht.
